Privacy Notice

This notice explains what information may be collected when someone uses Randolph County Inmate Population, how that information is used, and when it may be shared. By using this site, a visitor accepts the practices described here.

Information a Visitor Enters

Search Terms

When a name, location, or other search term is entered into a third-party search tool, that request is sent to the provider operating the tool. This site does not keep its own separate log of those search terms.

Messages

If a visitor sends an email or contact message, the details in that message may be kept long enough to review and respond. We do not share those messages outside our operation unless a valid legal requirement applies.

Information Collected Automatically

Basic technical information may be collected when pages load, including:

  • Pages viewed and approximate time spent on each page.
  • The referring website, when a browser provides it.
  • Date and time stamps.

Cookies

Cookies and similar tools may be used to understand site traffic and improve page performance. A visitor can block cookies in browser settings, although some features or partner tools may not behave the same way after blocking them.

Outside Websites and Public Records

This site links to sheriff pages, jail resources, Missouri Department of Corrections tools, court portals, VINELink, BOP, ICE, and third-party search services. Once a visitor leaves this site, the privacy policy and data practices of the destination site control.

Missouri Sunshine Law Chapter 610 governs many records held by Missouri public governmental bodies, including public-record requests to agencies such as a sheriff or court office. That law does not make this private site the custodian of government records. Advertising partners may also use their own systems to measure activity across websites for interest-based ads.

Who May Receive Information

We do not sell personal contact messages. Information may be available to the following parties when needed for the site to operate or when the law requires it.

  • Search partners that process submitted queries.
  • Analytics providers that measure traffic and technical performance.
  • Advertising networks that serve or measure ads.
  • Law enforcement, courts, or government bodies when required by subpoena, court order, or another valid legal process.

Security Practices

We use ordinary security practices for a public website, but no internet-connected service can be promised to be breach-proof, error-free, or available at all times.

Visitors Under 18

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has submitted information, a parent or guardian may ask that it be reviewed for deletion.

Privacy Choices

  • Request a copy of personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct information you believe is wrong.
  • Ask for deletion where deletion is legally and technically available.
  • Opt out of certain processing where applicable law gives that right.
